The popular hospital series in which Ellen Pompeo starred for a significant portion of her career is now finished.
The actress claims that the show must go on and that she will “absolutely” return to visit on Thursday night:

It would not have been possible for Pompeo to complete 19 seasons without the support of the fans all over the world, she adds, adding that she is “eternally thankful and humbled” for their love and encouragement.
Even the most devoted admirer would have anticipated Pompeo to leave at some point. She predicted that the series would finish shortly back in 2018.
