Last week, an activist blockade caused a slight delay for the England men’s team bus as it traveled to Lord’s for the one-off Test against Ireland.
The Just Stop Oil protesters caused delays for the Australia team bus on Monday morning as it was traveling to The Oval for practice.
ICC Revised Rules for the WTC
The ICC has revised the rules for the WTC final to include a provision that allows for the use of a different pitch if the current one is damaged or judged unsafe.
If the current pitch can be fixed, the game can resume from where it was halted as long as neither the surface nor the playing conditions are affected.

The ICC has notified both sides of the development. “It’s something we got in the security briefing a couple of days ago,”
Australian skipper Pat Cummins said. “I’ve heard they’re aware of it and keeping an eye on it.” But that’s all we’ve heard thus far.
